Achutha Sourabh Chellapilla is a seasoned Product Engineer with almost 8 years of experience in the field of Software Engineering. He is currently working at gojek, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the product. Achutha has a strong background in designing and developing data pipelines using Kafka. At his previous company, Tivo, he developed a data pipeline that processed over 10 million messages per day containing live TV metadata in an asynchronous and scalable manner. He also designed the pipeline to support data of multiple partners/tenants in an isolated manner and built a monitoring mechanism to detect anomalies in the system before it impacts customers and avoid downtime. Additionally, he designed a transactional API used by customers to publish their VOD Catalog in atomic fashion and reduced AWS cost for his team by 43% by creating reports based on usage, cost, etc., and resizing instances. Achutha has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Puducherry.
